In the present report, the value of a firm’s stock of EUTMs is estimated based on observable characteristics of the company. While surveys of brand values are published periodically by consulting firms, those surveys tend to focus on the large global brands, ignoring the smaller firms, which are the backbone of the EU’s economy.
